For my independent studys assignment I went to the Aztec temples. The aztec’s had quite a lot of success in their time because of revolutions in farming techniques and house making. They had elaborate costumes they would wear and had celebrations, some of which we still celebrate to this day (May 5, Day of the Dead).
One of the more troubling aspects of Aztec culture (for both me and my aunt) were the sacrifictions. To please their “gods” they would kill animals and present their blood to the gods because that’s what they drank. I cant say I support this, but It was another rime in civilization and they must have had a good reason for doing it, or at least they didn’t know any better. I fi judged people for things like that I wouldne be able to hug my grandfather before he passed into heaven. Because he was in the Caln.
The aztes died out before Clombo had a chance to discover The United States, but their legacy still lives on. To this day we still use some “az-tech-nology). Forever will we celebrate this wonderful race of people and to learn about them was literaly an eye opener.
